Ms. Elze studied law at and graduated from the Free University of Berlin and received further legal training at the "Kammergericht" in Berlin.
In 1983, Ms. Elze entered into partnership with Ulrich Keiper.
Ms. Elze's main areas of practice are:
- medical law, especially medical malpractice
- labor and employment law
- family law
Ms. Elze has a special permission as lawyer for medical law. She is a member of the "Vereinigung Rechtsanwälte im Medizinrecht e.V.", an organization of practitioners in medical law, and of the "Arbeitgemeinschaft Medizinrecht im Deutschen Anwaltverein".
In the medical field, Ms. Elze has continuously represented patients in the recovery of damages (including pain and suffering) in medical malpractice litigation, arbitration and mediation, and she has worked extensively with medical insurers in this field.
Ms. Elze counsels and represents clients in all aspects of employee rights and, since 1985, she has taught in this field at the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft in Berlin (Berlin School of Economics).
Ms. Elze also counsels, represents and acts as a mediator in all family law matters.
Ms. Elze speaks and writes in English (as well as in her native German).
